SMERA
SMERA Credit Ratings provides a comprehensive and independent third-party evaluation of the overall condition of the applicant. Currently, SMERA offers Obligor Ratings which takes into account the financial and non-financial factors that have bearing on the credit worthiness of the applicant.
SMERA is the country's first Rating agency that focuses primarily on the Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) segment.
SMERA's primary objective is to provide Ratings that are comprehensive, transparent and reliable. This would facilitate greater and easier flow of credit from the banking sector to MSMEs.
Emerging SMEs
Dun and Bradstreet India (D&B India) has reinforced its commitment to service the small and medium enterprises of India through the launch of SME Awards 2008.Emerging SMEs of India 2008, are aimed at felicitating the leading SMEs in ten sectors covered in the publication. Apart from documenting success stories, the publication is an endeavour to provide a platform for SMEs across the country and underscore some of their key achievements, thus highlighting their role in the economy.
Emerging SMEs of India 2008, profiles the award winners and runners up under the two turnover categories for each sector. Additionally, it lists those companies that responded with adequate information on various operational parameters. It also includes companies that were a part of the nomination process and chose to be featured as an advertorial.
